TANGLED UP

TANGLED UP is a photo-series in which I experimented with the combination of light-strings and the human anatomy. It zooms in and out on the body and plays with where and how the light falls. In this photo-series I experimented with very literal visualisation, as well as complete abstraction.

In a way the photos explore the many different ways that a lover can feel. Some capture a very soft and tender feeling, but others visualise the darker, claustrophobic or even abusive feelings love could entail
