DROMEND VAN VERZET
VROUWEN DROMEND VAN VERZET is a project for which I researched the gender pay gap that exists worldwide. To me this is a very urgent, problematic and almost unbelievable matter. The research I did helped me create the collages seen below. I made these using a mix of existing images, paint and different kinds of typography, and experimented with the composition of these components. Apart from that, I also played with the gender-typical visualisation that society throws at us.
Eventually I combined these artworks with a short manifesto (points can be read beneath the artworks) on this topic, and wild-posted the results around my city. Months later, I still spotted some of them around town.
