Pam van Manen (1997) is visual artist and poet from Utrecht, Netherlands. They earned their master’s degree in Visual Arts and Post-Contemporary Practice in 2022, following a bachelor's in Graphic Design that they finished in 2020.
Pam’s work moves across different media—photography, collage, poetry, spoken word, and painting—through which they explore themes like feminism, intersectionality, and queerness. These subjects, deeply personal to them, shape the way they tells stories and engages with the world around them.
In their work Pam reflects on the struggles of growing up queer and the search they challenges conventional ideas of gender and identity, questioning what it truly means to inhabit a body.
Pam’s work has been exhibited in several spaces, including Bloemlezing at Kanaal30 in Utrecht, Zelfzachtig in BarBuka Amsterdam, Dichtbloeien in Skatecafe and Weergaloze Wezens in Stadskantoor van Utrecht. She continues to develop her artistic practice and is open to commissions, collaborations, and exhibitions!
